Shopping
and
Palm Beach are words that fit like a glove. A Louis Vuitton
glove, that is.
With an elegant, upscale and sophisticated area like Palm Beach, one
would make the assumption that it's shopping
malls, districts and centers have got to live up to all
expectations. Indeed, they do.
The first place
that comes to mind when thinking about shopping in Palm Beach County is
of
course the famed Worth Avenue. For
those looking for the ultimate upscale shopping experience,
Worth
Avenue doesn't disappoint with it's more than 250 cosmopolitan shops,
boutiques, galleries and restaurants. Parking is thankfully
not
an issue here, as there is plenty of parking to go around.
Valet
parking is available at the Appolo parking lot north of Worth Avenue at
Hibiscus Avenue. There is also a 150-space garage at
the
east end of the Avenue, along with one and two hour metered spaces
scattered about the premises.
Other
great outdoor shopping areas include West Palm Beach's CityPlace, a
72-acre
retail, entertainment and living complex with
shops, restaurants, nightclubs & movie theatres, and the
awesome
stores and dining establishments you'll find up, down and
around Clematis Street. The Clematis Street
district even
offers a complimentary Trolley
to help you
get around.
In Palm Beach
Gardens, there's two terrific open-air places worth exploring:
Downtown at the Gardens and the PGA Commons, which is split into three
sections along PGA Boulevard.
Mizner
Park in
Southern Palm Beach County is a fun, outdoor place to stroll, shop and
dine. Their on-site, impressive amphitheatre and art gallery
add
to the "Mizner experience".
That

say
it's a rainy day or it's too hot to spend a lot of time
outdoors. You still have that urge to shop, so where do you
go?
Don't sweat it, as there are some terrific indoor malls to
work
your way around that will keep you cool, dry and content.

area's indoor malls worth perusing through include The Gardens Mall in
Palm
Beach Gardens, The Mall at Wellington Green in Wellington, and the Town
Center Mall at Boca Raton.
